How can my Yahoo Store automatically display an "Out of Stock" message for items with zero inventory?
I want the "Out of Stock" message to display automatically on the product page without manually toggling the "Availability" variable. As it is now, the "Add to Cart" button always appears whether or not the inventory for that product is zeroed out. I want the "Add to Cart" button to only display if there's inventory available. Any help, Y! Small Biz?
Best Answer: Hi Dan,
At this time, the best way to remove the "Add to Cart" button altogether and simply have it say "This item is currently out of stock" is to toggle the "Orderable" variable in the Store Editor manually. The inventory being reduced to zero will do not do this automatically by default, but we will submit this as a feature request in future development updates for you.

anyone from yahoo store, can't you make it so that you can make an item unorderable more easy?
you have to go into the "ITEMS" tab in yahoo store to make it unorderable which is a separate place from setting the inventory to zero. this is VERY cumbersome. Why can't those two things be in the same place such as can't you put the "orderable?" drop down menu on the SAME page as the inventory editing page? Better yet can't you just make an option for your items to be marked OUT OF STOCK under the price whenever the inventory drops to zero? my customers have to click on the thumbnail and go to the item's page to find out its out of stock which is kind of a bummer.

The problem with this whole setup is that the blog is not on the same domain as his commerce site, so it's really not helping it much in terms of SEO. I recently opened a Yahoo Merchant Solution Online Store, but i have to charge in mexican pesos because the store is for Mexico and latin america, and the default currency is US Dollars, how can I change the currency, it is kind of urgent because I already press the open for business button and I can't be charging Dollars instead of Pesos. Why can't I open for Business!!!! Yahoo store owners please help.?
I've finished all of the tasks needed to open my yahoo store for business, I even placed a test order. At the bottom it says, "All steps completed you're ready to open for business." When I click on the open for business button all seems fine. Everything seems to be loading, but then it diverts me to the store manager where it says my store is not yet open for business and that I need to go to the store control panel and click the open for business button WTF?! I've tried contacting Yahoo customer service several times but apperantly they've fallen off of the face of the Earth. I'm starting to wonder if Yahoo was the way to go or not. If someone has got any idea what to do please help.

I am using the Yahoo! Store Editor. I am selling wine. I created the custom field 'year' in my product table. Now I need that custom field to display in my item page. I recently opened an online store with Yahoo! Merchant Solutions, I'm new at this so bear with me. Is there an easier way to upload products into your catalog? I am wiped out. I've been getting product info and images from my wholesalers websites and manually entering them through the store editor but it takes FOREVER!! There has to be another way to go about this. Problems with options for my yahoo store?

I am having problems uploading options for my yahoo store. I have over 500 products that all have individual custom options from another retailer that I am reselling. The issue is, is that it's been one week of retyping them to fit the framwork of yahoo options and I feel like there is an easier way. I already downloaded the catalog manager and am changing it in excel but it's taking me forever. Is there is an easier way? just a little confused?
Me & my fiancee are getting married soon. He has two kids by 2 different women. The youngest child mother isn't to fond of me (b/c I am with the sons father). She doesn't know me not to like me. We casusally speak at holidays but it go beyond that. I am 23 she is 10 yrs older than I. Photo shop help (Image Re size)?
I have 100 different different sizes pictures. I want all the 100 pictures to be renamed at the same time(without doing manually)
But it must satisfy the below conditions.
1. In the original size highest size should be changes to 600
2. Once the height/width(highest size) changed to 600, then the other side should be changed to canvas image(i mean while color)
3. So the picture should be 600X600
Ex :
If the original size is Height - 287 and Width - 282
1. First image Height size should be changed to 600. (So automatically Width will change to 590 as we check constrain properties)
2. Then Width 590 should be changed to 600 (590 - 600 should be white color) I mean to say Canvas image.
So image size will be 600X600

Yahoo! Stores: How can I manually charge International Credit Card? Message is coming up "Failed".?
I use Redwood Merchant Services through Yahoo! Stores for my online store. I just tried to manually process a credit card (like I always do, and normally works fine), but this time I get a "Failed" message. I confirmed through Redwood Merchant Services that it's because the Credit Card is based in the UK, and so the "AVS" doesn't work on teh Manual Transations part of Store Manager in Yahoo! Stores. So, what should i do? Are there Y! Store owners who process International Manual transations in some other way?
