    How can I access a yahoo domain I bought in 2007 that is still registered to me?

    I bought a domain from yahoodomains on 2007-03-06

    I had initially intended to start my own site but never got around to it. The domain was purchased using yahoo briefcase which I believe was taken out of service some time later. My domain registration was automatically charged to my credit card upon renewal, however when briefcase was closed I was assured that my registration would simply stop once the renewal date rolled around. I didn't pay much attention to my credit card bill so I presumed it had been cancelled (my own problem I know) but recently I checked the whois details for myself and found that the domain is still registered to me and is obviously being charged to me. My problem now is that I have no way of accessing this domain to either cancel the registration or add privacy to the whois details. I think I need to pay to join yahoo smallbusiness which is something I don't particularly want to do.

    The error message tells me the following: "Sorry! We've encountered a problem. We seem to have hit a snag. Our system may have become temporarily unavailable, or there was a problem with your request. Please try again later. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you continue to see this message, please visit our system status page to learn about known issues affecting our system, or contact customer care."

    I contacted customer care and have heard nothing back. There is nothing on the status page related to this problem.
    EDIT: It's been three days since I contacted customer support. I have send another request for help to the link suggested below.

    I'm looking to get a domain and small business email (only) through Yahoo. I ONLY need the small business email and NOT the starter web page.

    If I don't create a starter web page, what happens when someone searches my domain name johnsmith.com (e.g. email address is john@johnsmith.com)? Will the screen just be blank? Will it have a Yahoo logo?

    Difficulty getting money back from Yahoo. Poor contact support.?

    I have transferred a number of domains out from Yahoo and after some difficult time getting through to them, they have agreed to refund the money paid for renewals of transferred domains. However, the money was never refunded even though they have updated the my records. My bank received no communication to the effect. No longer a customer, I cannot even get in touch with them. It looks as if Yahoo is making it difficult for customers to connect. All attempts go round in circles. I tried all the email contacts given through some of these questions-and-answers but failed. Calling them is not the easiest either since I am from a different time zone and the waiting time for each call can be long... Please advise the best way to successfully contact them to get my refund! The amount is not small...close to $1000.

    I bought domain through Yahoo Small Business in 2007 and got Yahoo! Domains setup for 5 years. After a while my Visa card expired, i had no use for my email account and i stopped payments to Yahoo, so my hosting was canceled.

    Yahoo! Domain Registration Error?

    A blessed day!

    I tried to register a domain in Yahoo! Small Business but when I click the "Process Order" button at the last part of the order process, I have an Error. I tried again but I have the same error. After a few minutes, my Credit Card Bank sent me an SMS notification that yahoo deducted a certain amount on my account, and then another SMS for another deduction. I also didn't get the domain.

    I forgot to write down the error message and I don't want to try it again.
    I registered two different domain before, 1 for my other account and 1 for my friend. but I didn't have this problem.
    I tired to contact Yahoo! help, by filling-up the form and according to that they will call me in few minutes, but for 2 days now, I didn't received any calls.

    What can I do now?

    I am familiar with some of the more popular companies, like godaddy (I'm unclear on whether or not the hosting would come with the purchase of a domain name, or if that would be an additional cost), and hostgator (I saw a billboard for a discount to host with them the other day, lol), and I know yahoo has a thing where you can set up your website through them, but I am just wondering if anyone has had good experiences with a particular company that they might recommend.

    I received a wrong bill $35 for a domain that Yahoo does not support almost
    for a year since the domain was transferred to a new
    owner. I immediately cancelled my account as I noticed the unwanted

    Where do I "Accept Transfer" of domain name away from Yahoo to another registrar?

    I'm on step three, which is to accept the transfer at the losing registrar (which is yahoo); however, I cannot find any action available in my domain control panel. Does anyone know where in my domain control panel I go to 'accept' a domain transfer away from yahoo? Thanks

    Can some one help me with questions about my domain, yahoo e-mail and website?

    I'm going through wix.com currently. It allowed me to try it before purchasing an actual website. I liked it so I bought it, well I needed a domain name so I purchased one through yahoo and yahoo wanted me to set up an e-mail account. I verified it and it still isn't working. It just keeps saying that my yahoo id and password is wrong and than when I try to have them re-send my info to my alternate e-mail account it says it doesnt exist. So here I am I purchased a domain name and a website and I have no idea how to link my domain name to my website. I'm really frusterated. I tried contacting yahoo and I can't find a number or anything anywhere. If any of this makes sense or if you can tell what I did wrong from what I have described, can you help me or point me in the right direction? I didn't pay a whole lot but it's a lot to me and I can't help but sit here and tear up. I thought I did everything right and nothing is working. please help. Thank you.

    This yahoo is my old e-mail address. can I link my domain info and everything to this one? if so how? I can't access any information on m account unless I sign in................well I can't dot that if it wont let me. thanks for the help

    Yahoo still charges me for a domain i transferred 4 years ago , how to contact them?

    I purchased a domain name back in 2002, and after 4 years i transferred to a UK registrar. However i recently noticed Yahoo are still charging me all these years later! I spent all evening trying to find a contact email or their phone number to sort this asap, but no luck. Does anyone know how to inform Yahoo about this problem?

    This package was part of Yahoo small business, now when i try to log in yahoo small business i get a message they don't have my user ID registered!? But they take my money!
    Please help.

    How many domains will Yahoo allow you to register for $1.99?

    I know that Yahoo lets you register domains for the ridiculously low price of $1.99 for the first year then jacks the price to 30 something the next year...but I was wondering if they allowed you to register more than 1 with the same ID? I was thinking of registering 10 or 12 domains and the $1.99 price would save a lot of money. Apparently you can't contact customer support until you are an actual paying customer. As long as the domain comes with total DNS control that is all I need.
