How can I go back to my old version?

Since upgrading to the new version I cannot manage my site. Any photos I try to insert will not load saying they are in use. Also my site files are gone leaving me with ones two years old and which I cannot modify. I need to update my site every couple of weeks and I can't do it now. Help
