If I have a business name for my writing business, how do I handle bylines for articles?4 months ago - 1 answers
Usually, the author's name appears in the byline.
Then, at the end of the article (or wherever additional information is provided about the author), it would read something like: "Melissa Jones is owner of Write Words, a communications company based in Eugene, Oregon."
I'm a magazine editor, and that's how we handle it . . . and the writers are happy with that arrangement.
Hope that helps.
