Question
Is starting a business a bad idea if you don't like doing sales and marketing?
Someone on peoples and disabilities keeps telling to start my own my business since I have aspergers and have trouble, problem is I hate doing sales and marketing. They said you could pretty much all online, but I'm pretty sure it takes alot of face-to-face marketing for even an online business to take off.

Any business will take a lot of marketing. This is especially true for online businesses, because they rely solely on being well-known; they can't take advantage of being in a good location and generally face a lot of competition.
Perhaps you could try to find a business partner? In many partnerships, one person is devoted to the business aspect while the other person is talented at actually providing the service or product.

You're right, being the owner when sales are down it'll be up to you to make contact with prospective customers to generate orders. Unless you enter into a business with a partner who is sales minded and you handle the internal operation you might have a problem.
