How do I get NBA, NFL photos to use on my website legally?

I have a sports website I'm working on, and I need photos, but I dont want to use any photo and then get in trouble.

go to gettyimages.com and select the royalty free options.
you can google other royalty free sites.

It might be paying istockphoto.com or shutterstock.com to get access to some photos.
