I bought shoes from Ebay and it has a really bad odor!?

The problem is that I bought it from China and I really want to return them for a full refund, but the return shipping to China is going to be costly! And I don't even know if it is worth it

I swear the shoe smells like burnt plastic which literally gave me a headache when I opened them. I tried them on as well and the shoes look really bulgy, but the size fits correctly. I honesty won't even wear them. I contacted the seller yesterday early afternoon, but I haven't gotten a reply yet. Still waiting.

What should I do about this situation? I feel like if they don't answer and I file a claim, even if I win, I still have to ship it back (if it was US, shipping charges are fine, but it's China's, meaning it might cost $15-25). The shoe itself, I paid $27 total. I know it isn't that much, but it just the fact I'm literally throwing $30 away.

Should I ask for partial refund?
Honestly, can't they tell the odor is horrible before packaging. I opened the package in my room and put it away into another bag to hide the smell, but I can still smell it... It's that bad!

Contact the seller and let them know of your problem. See if there is a solution you can work out with him. If not you will either be out of the money, or have to ship back. See if the USPS has a flat rate shipping box that may reduce the cost to get to china.
