How to interpret smart business attire?

Tomorrow I am starting a new job. Have to wear smart business attire. But it seems to be a quite vague definition. When I google it mostly topics about smart casual come up, what sounds a lot less 'professional' than smart business to me so I can better ask you guys then:) so please help me out; what do I wear?

Oh to make clear, I'm male.
