How Do I Print Business Checks on a Computer?

I'm a newbie to office software and need to know which program(s) I need to have the ability to print business checks from my computer.

You can see the reviews for each in the referenced site. And while it would be better on a laser printer, almost all banks now use optical recognition so MICR inks and such are no longer needed and an inkjet printer will work just fine as long as the characters are printed correctly.
