Freelance makeup artist/starting business?
I have a true passion for all things beauty. I love styling hair (not terribly good at cutting tho), and I really loooove doing makeup. I'm very good at it. I know the professional tips and tricks, and ways of applying makeup. I'm also very creative when it comes to makeup and styling hair. Everyone I know tells me that this is my calling and that I need to pursue it. I'm not a certified beautician tho. I have a 1 year old and haven't the time to go to cosmetology school nor funds to pay for daycare for her or for classes for myself at this time. So I want to know what steps should I take in order for me to start doing makeup for people, as a freelance makeup artist from home. Eventually I want to have my own business doing this and also help others like me achieve their dream, and by that time I'll obviously be certified. Any ideas or advice? Much appreciation!
