Which Business Structure for Blogging?

I would like to start a blog as a hobby and to share my passions. If I can make money at it, that would be even better. I may also try some freelance writing too. What business structure, if any, should I set up to manage a blog and some freelance writing? I want to be safe about taxes and any government regulations about operating something that creates revenue.
