how do i stop people from slandering my name?

A business opposition is claiming my business is a scam and is slandering my name. Now other users (i think) are jumping on the bandwagon i guess they think they are doing the right thing when in fact they know nothing about me or my business but instead are only helping my business opposition who was actually my ex-partner & is conducting an exact replica of my business

If you know who is doing this, you can file a civil court case against them for libel and defamation.
