can i open my own bakery?
me and my cousins want to open a bake shop! we want to open it in my garage! Its totally clean are kitchen is always clean my mom is a clean freak! And are garage is spotless and very nice! We live in New York State. Just wondering if its possible! Im 14 my cousins are 16,15,and 14! Can we do this?

Yes, my neighbors did this in their back room. It cost them about $20,000 for the required renovations to meet health and fire code for a commercial kitchen. They sold cookies for several years and even had a registered trademark.

Probably not, in a garage. You'd need approval from your local health department wherever it is. Most home kitchens won't even meet health dept rules.
