Business Card Guidelines?

I am helping someone with Business card! I am just printing something on each side no fancy pictures. It's on color paper(cardstock) and I want to know what size or guide lines to make the most business cards at of the sheet! The paper is 8.5 x 11! I would appreciate some help or link. A PSD file for a business card layout would be cool too. Please and Thank you!

Buy Avery Clean-Edge business card stock and then download their FREE Design Pro software to make beautiful business cards. Do NOT even consider using Microsoft Word to design business cards.
