Sell food From home?

I'm in pastry school and was wondering what I would have to do to start selling food from my house??? For the state of Ohio such as cookies and cakes and stuff

You'll have to check with the state, but I expect you'd need a health department certificate. They'd have to inspect the home to see if it would pass inspection.
