Question
At what point should I get an LLC?
I have a dba for my cosmetic business. Right now, I'm not going to start selling hair extensions and then eventualy I want a frangrance line for women, one for men, , and a makeup line. When would I apply for an LLC for the business?

For tax purposes, there is no difference between a Sole Proprietorship (just using your dba) and an LLC.
LLCs offer some legal protection in case you are sued.
In my opinion, when you get to the point of selling cosmetics and fragrances, that is when you are going to need some legal protection.
