how can i learn how to use a cash register at walgreens?
I just got a job at walgreens and the cash registers are very confusing.
they are touch screen so they are even more confusing.
Is there a website or some video or just something that explains EVERTHING about the cash register?
I used it for the first time today and ended up holding up the line with about 15 people.
i have asked the managers to help but it is hard to learn when they move so fast with customers.
what im looking for is instructions about everything with the cash register. like today, someone came with rain check papers and i had to change the price of everything and i had no idea how.

a; ask where the repair-seller of the register has his-her office.
b; ask the store mgr or district mgr where centralized training is for new register operators. I am sure
they have a central training location; if not, that is stupid.
c; it is usually slowest in the evening, after 10 pm. ask if you can return during those hours
for one on one training.
