Question
How many of you small business owners are going to have to lay off workers due to Obamacare?

Why would I do that?
I will just raise my prices to my customers to cover my costs and they will raise their prices to their customers to cover their costs and those people will raise their prices to YOU and you will pay $9.50 for a loaf of bread and be happy it's under $10 and all the people who don't want to work now have fantastic health coverage courtesy of the few remaining people that do work.

Not me.
Obamacare made it law that if you have over 50 employees, you have to provide health insurance to your employees. If you were a good person and moral business owner, you would help with the health insurance already- you wouldn't need to be forced to do the right thing. People should go before profits.
Not me, I layed all 52 of them off and downsized to just me several years ago because of all the other regulations and taxes. I just got tired of it. Probably a good thing too because I got out before the economic downturn. So in my case the coffin had enough government nails in it before Obamacare.
RingORoss, how naive of you. American Businesses have to compete with China and other countries or they go under. It has nothing to do with them being good or bad. In a global world, everyone will work for Wall mart and MacDonald's, small companies will be a thing of the past, as they already almost are.
"Obamacare" which has little to do with Obama and not much do with with healthcare.
- it's a health insurance law, not a health care law.
It will do little impact on small business owners. It only impacts companies with 50 or more employees. It's believed that over 95% of the businesses with this number of employees, already offers some form of health insurance.
