Question

i want to open a daycare but against some factors?

ok im going to start online schooling thro penn foster to open my own daycare center. but i plan on getting married and having my own children one day. when i do have my own kids, i dont want to put them in a daycare that young. i dont believe in putting a 6 week old child in a daycare. is it bad that i want to open a daycare even though im against that factor? what can i do when i have my own kids past the 6 week maternity leave?

If you're running your own day care you should still be able to watch after them yourself but they'll also get the benefit of socializing with other kids.

there is nothing wrong with stipulating a minimum age, such as 1-2-3 yrs of age.

If you own your own business, any kind of business including a day care, there is no six weeks maternity leave. You can make your own but all the families are free to place their children in other facilities while you are off. Most won't come back. No one wants their children when a daycarer provider who is also taking care of their own infant. I wouldn't consider it until your child is 10+ months old.

Penn Foster is a sham.

If you don't want to take care of infants there is no requirement that you need to take care of infants.
