That all depends on where your business is located and what your local market will bear. Your best bet would be to call local cleaning companies that offer "free phone quotes"...and ask for pricing. Just act as though you are in the market for a house cleaning and are comparing quotes.
Call around and get quotes for a small house (less than 1500 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms) - a medium house (1600 - 2800 square feet 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms) and a large house (2900-4000 square feet with 4+ bedrooms and 3+ bathrooms).
Now take the pricing they gave you and divide it by square feet. For example: Let's say they quote you $140 for a 2000 sf. house for the first time cleaning and $100 for on going cleaning every two weeks. This tells you that they are charging .07 cents per square foot for the first cleaning and .05 cents per square foot for the on going cleanings.
Some companies charge by the hour. If they send 2 cleaners and the cost is $70 per hour, then you know the going rate in your area is $35 per manhour. ($70 divided by 2 cleaners).
There are many ways to price cleanings. As for windows, are you cleaning inside and outside? Are you cleaning the tracks, frames and screens? Again, call local window washing companies and get some quotes.
My company is in the Dallas area. What I can charge for a 2000 square foot home is no where near what my friend in Washington D.C. can charge for the same sized home. Different markets...different cost of services.
