What is the maximum amount of money the bank will lend me to start a business?

The bank will loan you an amount up to their legal lending limit as long as you have the assets to collateralize the loan. Legal lending limits vary according to the size of the bank.. A small bank may have a $500,000 limit whereas a larger bank may have a $50,000,000 limit. But it ultimately comes down to your assets. No assets, no loan.

in this day and age, probably none. if its a business you shouldnt need any money or why would you be in business. save up until you can afford to go it alone and risk your own money. this is business not a hand out.
