Question
I want to start a t-shirt business?
I have been a SAHM for the last 12 years. I am having a very hard time trying to find a job again. Since I can't work outside the home I started thinking of things I could do to make some extra money.
So I thought of starting a t-shirt business catering to plus sized people. I know where I can get a heat press, and I already know some designs to put on it. This would mainly be a online business.
What do you think of this idea? Is this area to "saturated" in your opinion? I'm just looking for some advice. Thanks in advance :)

i would suggest to carry all sizes or s, m, L and then the bigger sizes as well. its all up to you. but thats what i would do, just because it would give an opportunity of more sales. but maybe throw extra attention to the fact that you have those bigger sizes. and it doesnt seem like a bad idea. there are other people doing it already, just be creative and maybe do some research on what people like and what they wear.

There is always a market for the next top selling T-Shirt idea. But instead of having all that equipment in your home, it might be better to concentrate on design ideas and promotion of your online business.
I have recently discovered a fabulous company called Zazzle. The way things work with them is you come up with the ideas and they do the production. And you get a decent percentage on all of your orders. You even get your own website and you can call it whatever you like. And you can put your ideas on other products as well. It's not very complicated at all...very simple and entirely free to set up! I have 3 stores. Each sells T-Shirts. But each store is a different category.
If you're looking for an online T-Shirt business without all the hassle of having equipment on hand and smelling up your house, then check out Zazzle. You won't be disappointed
