Where to start to get my finances right?

I'm at a point in my life where I feel like I just want to start over. My credit is poor and I just don't know where to start. I wanna get out of debt so my daughter can have a better future. Where do u start.

You have a daughter. I am sure you are familiar with libraries.
You can find these books at your local library.
