I always prefer nice contrasty easy to read text, darkening the text a bit more would make in stand out from the tinted background a bit more.

To help make that text on the far right banner more readable you could created a glowing sort of halo around the text, in photoshop or the free counterpart GIMP you could have the background and text on separate layer and perhaps a layer between with a blurred and colored copy of the text.
