I have a blog, and I want to become an affiliate. What sites/programs should I use?
sites like Clickbank, Amazon etc. What do you recommend, and how do I use them?1 year ago - 3 answers
It all kind of depends on what your website is about. The last thing you want to do is have a blog up with no content (post) and completely random affiliate links and ads.
Potential customers have gotten smart, will view your site as spam and you will make no money.
We need more of a strategy.
If your website is all about music, then I'd create a few post talking about some of the things people want to read, and maybe have a few interesting YouTube videos up for viewing.
I'd then sign up as an affiliate for someplace like Amazon and find products related to my website.
The next step would be to figure out what your readers are looking for, find the product on amazon or Clickbank after you've signed up, copy the affiliate link they provide, then create a helpful post addressing what they are looking for, and paste your copied affiliate link.
That is the basic version and kind of explains the process in black and white. If your genuinely giving the reader what they are looking/asking for, then you'll make money for years to come.
If you half way throw up a site and paste some random affiliate links looking for a profit, you'll fail every time.
