Can I sell my design as a private person?

I was asked to design some labels for some products. My question is can I sell those to a company as a private person?

Yes you can sell the design as a private person but do patent your design so that the design would be legally owned by you the process is called patent, also make a legal contract with the person with whom your dealing.
