How to Find the MARKET POTENTIAL OF A E-COMMERCE SITE?
i have an assignment where i have to investigate the market potential of a e-commerce website, where people will be able to buy and sell mobiles. So i need help.

You need to do a research about the products you are selling check if people like it, if the price is good to attract customers and mainly have a very good customer service, delivering items quickly to customers.

I don't know much about market research, but I think, first thing that might help you, is Google.
Check out Google Adwords keyword tool and check whether terms are being searched.
Also, Google Trends might help.
I wouldn't hold it as professional answer, but this is what I include in my sphere of work.
