TerraBound.com, I am choosing this name for a Real Estate & Property Management Company. Is TerraBound.com OK?
Please provide your opinions. Please provide suggestions. I like the word "terra" in the business name.
Anything is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Bound can have a negative connotation, like one who dreams of flight who is Earth Bound. I don't get the connection to properties. TerraAssets.com seems to me to be a stronger suggestion of dirt properteis.
As far as web site design, a domain name that describes the business or better yet exactly matches an important search phrase (sorry all taken) can give a slight search ranking advantage and saves expensive brand publicizing. Something like sageProperties gives a clearer (perhaps less clever) indication of the nature of the business.
There are sites with tools that help you come up with fictitious names, including: wordlab.com, naming.net, wordoid.com, lingzini.com, namestation.com, some of these tools look up the domain name availability as you go.
Any name not already used in a .com web site name is probably not trademarked.
You could take a few minutes and try a keyword search for related phrases people are actually typing in their browser s daily. Seed it with a few phrases like: Property Management, Real Estate & Property Management Company. Perhaps you will find some naming inspiration.
"NO SUCH THING AS A MINOR LAPSE OF INTEGRITY" is a good line.
