Question
Boxing: Name for sale?
Do boxers at the end of their career sell their name to a younger fighter's resume? Can you give me an example of an older boxer can't cut it anymore fighting to cash out his name...and sell out its legacy.

Sad to say it but Evander Holyfield and Roy Jones Jr. came to mind almost immediately.

I doubt that happens very often, any name with some notoriety still has value for endorsements, etc after they have retired (Forman Grill) even after they have died their family inherit the rights to the name and are able to make some money from licensing in some cases.
There are plenty of fighters with Rocky in their names non the less.
