How do you sell things on eBay?

Well I'm looking to make a little cash..
I know how to set it up for the most part, but how does their money get transferred to you? Through a bank account? And how do you ship the item to them? Does that cost?

My Paypal account is linked to Ebay...in fact, I think a Paypal account is required now. You sell your stuff, payment goes into your account, you box the stuff up & ship it. I have a USPS account, so I print Priority labels at home (yes, it costs) & give it to the mailman. I never have to leave the house.
