should i get sponsored by small companies first?
i want to be a pro bmx rider but i think it will be hard trying to get sponsored by red bull and monster energy

You Should Deffently Get a smaller or local sponsor fiirst as they will help you out getting known. they will also want riders to promote there company which they will probably get you to enter Comps. and at comps you can run into bigger sponsors. and make some vids and send them into the bigger company's.

Don't be scared to approach them, you might as well try for the big guys see what they can do for you but in the mean time of approaching them you could try local businesses as their response would be quicker and could help you whilst you wait to hear back from the big guys.
