Watermark with no date, is this ok?

I made a watermark for my photography but forgot to put a year, is that ok? It took me quite a long time to make it because my computer is incredibly slow so I really don't want to have to go through that again.

You can do whatever you like with a watermark. A date has no bearing on anything. You don't need a watermark, people just put it on to avoid getting ripped off. The copyright law does not require you to do anything though you can register your copyrights to get additional protection.
