Question
Does Ebay still charge to sell on their site?
So a couple of months ago I was selling something on Ebay and up in the right hand corner there was some kind of listing fee thing and even when I finished it said $0.00. So did Ebay stop charging to sell on their site? Or was it just for that month?

No they still charge. They usually have a 1-2 week period where they will eliminate the fee's up to a certain amount as a promotion to try and get more listings on their site. That's usually the time I sell on eBay =P.

No the fees are just hidden, I get charged monthly for selling things on ebay. You should have been too, they just take it right out of your Paypal account
by Kyle A - 12 months agoIts 15pence in the UK to list on eBay, can go up more if you add pictures, list in 2 categories or extend the listing to a week or longer, I've paid up to 45 pence for a listing before.
But very frequently (more often during the week when there is fewer people putting up new listings) they will have a zero insertion fee offer where it is free on that day or weekend to list items without being charged, its as many listings as you want too so make the most of it on the day/weekend!
They also have offers where they let you add more than 1 photo for free (up to 12 free photos) rather than the standard 1 free photo, this is very useful if you have lots of photos and really want to sell, e.g. A phone or laptop when people want to see the exact condition, so keep an eye out for those too!
