Squidoo is a site that was founded some 6+ years ago by entrepreneur Seth Godin, and it allows it's members to create web pages (lenses) that focus on a specific topic.

On Squidoo a member can write about practically anything, from travel to Homeschooling, to Fashion, Food, in fact anything that you are passionate about. With more than a million pages, there is a lot of content to choose from.

Squidoo is free to join, and it's members can earn revenue from sharing in the advertising income (through the ranking of their lenses) as well as from placing their own affiliate links on their pages (Amazon, eBay etc).

The quality of most pages on Squidoo is high, with HQ hotly removing pages that are spam, scam or containing adult or plagiarized content.

Actually, contrary to what was already said, Squidoo did not take a hit from Google Panda (unlike some other content sites like Hubpages, which took a huge hit), and in fact pages on the site are performing better than ever on Google searches.
