Just about any kid that grew up in the ’80s or ’90s likely had plenty of experience with LEGOs. Most creations were simple, but if you were skilled and fastidious enough, you could create elaborate sets too good to dismantle. A prime example — this ridiculously cool Shelby GT500 model, done up by master builder Sheepo’s Garage.
Using 3,500 original LEGO parts, the GT500 is a fully functional model with a 5-speed gearbox, disc brakes, McPherson front struts, a functioning steering wheel, and an ultra-adorable tiny V8. Though, the tiny V8 is just for show, as power comes via a set of RC batteries.
